Secure fixings on thermally insulated façades – including timber construction
The market for ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems) continues to grow at a high level – supported by funding schemes aimed at improving energy efficiency. The material properties of modern ETICS provide excellent insulation performance, but they also mean lower load-bearing capacity for retrofitted fixings. TOX has therefore developed a coordinated range of fixing solutions for light, medium and heavy loads – from house numbers to awnings. A colour-coded guidance system with project finder provides quick orientation in retail and on site, making it easier to select the right solution.
At the same time, timber is becoming increasingly important as a construction material: prefabricated timber elements can shorten construction times, reduce costs, offer flexible use and naturally provide good insulating properties with minimal space requirements. That is why the TOX range also includes solutions for timber houses and timber frame construction – including applications on wood fibre insulation boards.
The programme has also been expanded in a practical way: Thermo Proof Wood and Thermo Proof Wood Mini complement the timber construction segment, Thermo 50 Mini stands for compact, discreet fixings, and Thermo Proof Plus Sun covers special applications such as shutters or sun sails.
